Prayers Needed

Yall, I really need for yall to pray for my family. Things are rough right now. I have been so sick and missed 3 days of work last week, and the cough is still hanging on. I know you all know about Bryan (I know some of you think he deserves being there), but he needs our prayers too. He is scared to death. I went to visit him yesterday, and he looked awful, he was dark under his eyes, and he said it was so cold in there. He's all alone in his cell, with nothing to do or no one to talk to. I know he has done somethings in the past, but remember he still is part of your family, and family sticks together through thick and thin.

What A Wonderful Christmas

Well all my family was together at Christmas. We really enjoyed visiting and sharing memories of Christmas' past. We couldn't wait to open up gifts, so be let everyone open theirs on Christmas Eve night. For the entire 2 weeks I was off from work, I cooked, cleaned, and washed for the first week (one of the side effects of having all of your grown kids there). The 2nd week I enjoyed myself, went to visit my mom, and just enjoyed my time off.

We went to the doctor again last Friday, and he told Bud that the ulcer had shrank 1/2 cm width and 1/4 cm in height. He put him on a cream called Elidel (expensive - for precancerous spots) and said that hopefully that his nose would completely heal up within a months time. If not, we will have to have a biopsy. Yall pray for us, that his nose will heal up in that timeframe.

I've learned a new game over the holidays too, I've learned to play 42. Our neighbors taught Bud and me how to play. We still have a little trouble bidding (not quite sure how to bid), but we are catching on quickly. It's a lot of fun.

Kaylee had a wonderful trip to London, England. I have posted a couple of pictures for yall to see! Enjoy.

More on BUD!

Well we went to the doctor yesterday. Dr. Randall told us that he believed that the spot on Bud's nose was an allergic reaction to the degreaser. He called is a severe case of contact dermatitus caused by a caustic chemical. He prescribed him with two weeks of prednisone (steriods) beginning with 5 a day for 3 days, then 4 for 3, so forth. He also gave him a cortizone cream to apply twice a day. Told him to keep his hands off of his nose, and don't touch unless appling the medicine. He told us to come back in two weeks. If there is a noticable difference, (new skin growth) then we should be ok. He measured it to be 2cm x 2cm. Hopefully it will have shrunk by then. If not, he will take a biopsy and then send it off for more information. And we will go from there to a plastic surgeon to remove all of the bad tissue and have his nose grafted with a piece of hip skin.

Yall please pray for him. He told the doctor that if his nose healed up, he was gonna quit smoking, (doctor gave his a script for Chantix). I'm gonna hold him to it. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Love ya, Toot

Say A Prayer for Bud!

Yall please say a prayer for Bud. I am taking him to the doctor tomorrow afternoon. That spot on his nose is not getting any better, and I'm really scared. They will probably do a biopsy of the spot, let's pray that it will only be fungal, bacterial, or viral, and not that nasty "C" word. I know we shouldn't have waited so long, but we haven't had the money, the doctor is gonna work with us. Dr. Gary Randall from Lufkin is who we are going to. GOD can cure all, and I'm putting Robert in his hands. Let's pray for a good report.
